It’s so sad that Gaster’s Mission for constantly overwriting went from loving Chara and Frisk and wanting the best for them to just wanting a perfect timeline to satisfy him and not even caring for the two children. He has so much character development throughout the whole movie and it’s so sad that there was no one to actually stop and tell him about his mistakes until it was too late for him to go back.

The descent from XGaster’s genuinely good intentions to maniacal perfectionism is astounding. He went from wanting to make a world for the siblings to have good lives to using them as a means to create the perfect universe.

so cross killed them all to get the overwrite power to fix everything and to go back to a peaceful timeline but his monster soul didn't allow him to use overwrite so it was all a waste and he ended up in the void with chara. DAMN ;-;

Gaster looks like I just bought the last bag of chips that he wanted and he's trying to not be rude and hides his anger but he isn't doing it well.

Can I just mention how in the end when Cross starts his attack Papyrus stands back and how when they were being lifted he looked undamaged and looked concerned for Cross rather than afraid. The relationship between brothers truly never fades and this just proves that

XGaster has to be my favorite villain of all time. The build-up for him was literal years long and so well-done and when I finally saw him in XTale, I was horrified in the best way, and in Underverse Season 2 he’s still just as good imo.
