Heh... What's funny is that... This song actually really closely matches the circumstances I'm going through right now. A mistake I never wanted to make led to the downfall of my friend group, two people were taken away from me, and now... I'm just waiting for someone to save us all from this. This isn't what I wanted, it wasn't what I asked for... My intentions were good from the start, I tried to prevent this... I just hope that some day, we'll find a way to make it all right.

been listening to this nonstop since it came out. I wasn't expecting to love this since I have problems with most lyrical themes, but this is SO GOOD and gives us so much CLEAR insight into how Cross was feeling at this time. Lines like "I'm begging for help!" are things he'd never say but clearly felt and it's so cathartic to hear these.
