I really wish they'd made a sequel to Armada II.

This was my favorite game of all time. I actually got a map editor mod at one time which made the gameplay fast and furious. A working rerelease would be a dream come true but as usual the big game companies will never go for easy money. A rebuild for modern systems would appear to be easier than starting a new game from scratch. Everyone I talk to has great memories of this old game and would buy a new one with a built in map editor. I may have to find an old P-2 to ever play it again. I wish I never sold my old P-2.

I miss being able to play this game. This was my favorite. I hate how it won't run on Windows 7. 

While I can't recreate the single player mode (that I miss dearly), using the Fleet Ops mod with Star Trek Armada 2 provides a similar Instant Action experience.
