Why most VPN guides are using the local network to test connection to the VPN Server when in fact it is really meant for Accessing the VPN from a different Network. And I find it difficult to connect from another Network. Can you please demonstrate how to connect from a different Network?

How is it with Windows VPN server after nat device with public IP. For example: I have Cisco ruter as edge of my LAN and i want to deploy remote access from internet. I need to install windows VPN server somewhere in my LAN network and on the cisco router i have to forward VPN ports to this VPN server? Am I right? Thank for your answer. You are doing GREAT job for many guys.

Hi, Stupid question, how do I set up the equivalent of the WS2K19-VPN01 server and is it necessary to allow the VPN to work or can it all just be set up on the DC? If you could point me in the direction of the a tutorial for the VPN01 server set up I’d be very grateful. Thanks

Hi i kept getting this error ...please help, any body...the VPN connection between your computer and the VPN server could not be completed. The most common cause for this failure is that at least one Internet device (for example, a firewall or a router) between your computer and the VPN server is not configured to allow Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) protocol packets. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator or Internet Service Provider
