The reason why Pakistani, Indian and Bangladeshi foods are similar is that all of them were one giant country back in the day. That's why the origins of most of the foods in these countries are unknown. The food may be more popular in one country but was invented in another.

I have been to both countries and honestly both of them look a lot alike.
Main difference is that Pakistan has most of the restaurants non-veg and India has veg, both of the people are very similar!
The differences are only created by the governments and other people who are afraid of the success if these both countries unite!
