I love how realistic GTS is. I mean look how the driver uses his arm to turn the wheel compared to Forza. That, with the tiny details, makes all the difference.

if you look at the steering wheel, the metallic part of the wheel on GTS looks gorgeous, looks really similar to real polished metal

so many kids here man fucking car game community is toxic as hell just enjoy your favourite game we play those games because we love cars we want to master the race track and be the best but man wtf is this why are you all crying i am playing fm7 and i love it for a good singleplayer and i love GTS for a good multiplayer i don't care how much tracks or cars are in the game or how good the graphics are i want to play these games because i love cars just stop this hate from both sides it is stupid and it won't change anything it is just cringy

They both look great and I love the weather effects in F7. Having said that, there's something so photorealistic about GT Sport. Perhaps it's the subtle yet brilliant lighting combined with a super-smooth framerate. F7 & FH4 are both stunners in their own ways but for me personally, Polyphony's effort takes pole position....for now.

I think Forza has better overall graphics, but GTS has more accurate driver modelling and the vehicle interior is quite nice . They designed the character model so the thumbs do not wrap around the wheel. That is a huge rule in racing. Never wrap your thumbs around the wheel. Plus the wheel has a wider range of motion. In Forza it barely moves. However the car in GTS looks very strange. Forza has excellent natural lighting and reflections. The pavement has cracks and tire marks. GTS pavement is just one flat color with no texture and zero shadows.

anyone notice that on forza external view missing the side mirrors?
I wonder if is only for this car or for all of them in the game

That comparision dosnt fit well cause the circuit have differents lights, i know GT uses differents shaders for lights and shadows that Forza didnt, thats why the circuits looks more reallistic in GT, Forza looks good as always but didnt changed anything since Forza 4, details in the car still great reflects too, but the circuits and the effects of lights still one step down even if u compare to PC2

Gt Sport is more about attention to detail while Forza 7 is about sharpness (4K)

Graohically GTS got Forza 7 beat and I'm a Forza guy. I'm also a photographer and I know good lighting when I see it. Gran Turismo has better lighting than Forza which makes the difference. I recall playing I think GT5 years ago and watching the replays with this one filter/cinema view it made GT5 look super real.

As a franchise I think Forza looks really good and that's why I like playing Horizon so much, but for racing I personally like Gran Turismo best. I still play Gran Turismo 4 on PS2 I'll never get bored of it.

As a gamer and upcoming game designer/developer and gamer, In terms of graphics and only the graphics I see in this video,

-Forza 7 looks as though is has a slightly higher polygon count in certain areas, but in the areas it fails, Gran Truismo looks smoother.


-Forza 7 lacks compelling dynamic ambient lighting with little to no global illumination. This makes it look a little harsh. Gran Turismo's lighting is ambient and soft making it appear photo realistic like something mental ray or Vray spat out.

-when it comes to aesthetics, there's what's just looks real and there's what's real looking but slightly stylised. Forza 7 leans towards "real looking but slightly stylised" whereas Gran Truismo, although it looks dull at times, the lighting is simulating the appearance that would occur in a real life scenario.

But hey! A game's not just about lighting right? It's about what we all bring to the table. ;)
