Hello Everyone!

This video is the fourth one in a series of videos discussing the engineering thermodynamics. Here, I will discuss the application of first law of thermodynamics on closed systems (control masses). I define the system boundary work, talk about different processes, introduce specific heats and use them to calculate the change in internal energy and enthalpy of ideal gases, liquids and solids.
