I actually disagree with some of the critiques. This isn't piracy, but for the sake of it let's call it so. Piracy is often very helpful for developers, as it brings a lot of popularity to the app, and for something as cheap as noteful a few of these "pirates" will eventually cave in and buy it. Piracy is the reason why photoshop, windows and microsoft word are the de facto apps for their purpose. Many people are hesitant to pay for features upfront, but would more happily pay if the app has shown to serve purpose.

This is incredibly harmful actually. The app is VERY cheap, in fact, I'm worried if it's even sustainable. So why not just pay for it?

I love Noteful and I don't want it to go away. And that's why I need to say this.
Software development is actually quite a demanding, time consuming, and highly skilled work. I don't see what we're achieving here by circumventing the (already generous) restrictions in place to push users to buy the app.

Contrary to popular belief (for which I blame the terrible big tech corporations) software is a product, and "free" is not sustainable nor does it make any sense unless the customer is the product (i.e. Google Maps, Docs, Instagram...etc).

Just pay the developers and purchase the app. I don't even get how much cheaper should it be for people to do that.

This is called stealing. It damages the developers income stream and in the long run will mean this app will die. I strongly suggest you remove this video.
