Hans Niemann played a fine tournament at the World Rapid 2022 in the first half. But in the second half he slumped. This was one of his defeats in the penultimate round where he just resigned in 12 moves. He had more time on his clock when the game ended than what he began with.

Its funny how GMs always are super confused by other GMs playing bad moves. They always suspect some evil master plan instead of a blunder :D

He must have felt some weird vibrations after that blunder

I'm SOOOO glad I actually got see this actual game and not just commentary on a digital board. The looks from those two are priceless!

Wow the pause there by the guy on the right recognizing it was a blunder and then Hans's reaction recognizing and it was a blunder but the guy in the right still waiting to see if it's some sort of trap not believing he made that kind of move. Whatever it was... These guys are phenomenal....

He must've been out of bluetooth range for this game...

3:25 when his team stops telegraphing moves and just sets it to 'full pleasure' mode.

Class act by the winning player staying behind to reset the board.

The confusion on Vokhidov's face after Hans plays Be2 is actually quite comical lol, it's like he doesn't know what to think. (Maybe trying to work out if Hans has some super-computer move coming or is trolling him?)

I love this style of video. Clear view of the board so no need for a digital one, and clear view of both contestants showing the intesity and emotion in their faces.

Hans had 98% accuracy against Rapport. The beads were quite functional that day.

Put some respect on Vokhidov's name. He is the winner of Chess Olympiad. Such an underrated Grand-Master.

The way he keeps on looking in Hans eyes after Hans plays Be2😂😂😂

At 1:14 Hans made the blunder Be2 without looking at the move played by his opponent. It was like a bad premove in an online game...

1:16 Bro couldn't believe his eyes that the man who infamously defeated Magnus Carlsen played like that.

Vokidov's expressions after Hans played Be2 were like 'what is this guy thinking?'

The knocking over of the water bottle at 4:00 is the icing on the cake.

I don’t know if he cheated over the board or not, but this guy has to be one of the most un consistent top players out there. No surprise he raises suspicions. 1600 player would have last longer than him in this game without blundering.

I’m only 2100 and I saw the hanging pawn within a few seconds. Him performing like a
1700in faster games 100% hints at assistance in classical form.
