A: Because he can use both Sora’s and Ventus’ keyblades. Sora can wield two keyblades at once because he has Ventus’ as well as his own. As Roxas is a part of Sora, he also can use two. In Days Roxas awakened his ability to dual wield after fighting Xion. In KHII once
Sora absorbs him, he can also dual-wield.

im curious why everyone thinks oblivion and oathkeeper came from ventus and kairi and riku... where clearly in 358/2 days you see Roxas have both his original keyblade and another keyblade that looks like his, in the entire game Roxas used one keyblade and xion used one keyblade, on day 358 after Xion is gone, Roxas has 2 keyblades that looks exactly like his and Xions, and in an instant they transform to oblivion and oathkeeper... representing light and dark... and when the oblivion keyblade is thrown to riku he suddenly remembers everything about xion for a moment. this sort of thing never really happens again in KH so i thought it was safe to assume the Oblivion Keyblade is Xion’s keyblade

Theoretically speaking, the keyblade is basically just a form of strength? Sora was able to duel wield using Riku's keyblade during the last battle in KH2. Does this mean that it doesnt matter what keyblade you wield rather the persons ability to wield it? Riku was also able to wield the keyblade Roxas threw at him...

to be honest ... it's better to think that Roxas can dual weild because he has both Xion and His own Heart/
