Xiaomi 13 Ultra | TSW146

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra hasn't officially launched yet, but we've already seen some leaks and rumours emerge on the specs, camera tech and other features. Here's a closer look at that Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone ahead of the global reveal, hopefully happening before Summer 2023.

With that Leica partnership in full swing, we're intrigued by the camera hardware that'll be crammed inside of this super-premium phone. Especially as the Xiaomi 13 Pro already boasts an excellent setup, including Sony's 1-inch IMX898 sensor and a solid telephoto shooter.

Other specs for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra are mostly predictable, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a mighty AMOLED screen. However, will we see some battery innovations, or is the 90W charging rumour accurate?

I don't care that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will likely be about one and a quarter thousand quid, if the leaks are indeed correct I have to say, the fact that 90 watt charging is now considered "a bit crap" for it's price even when it would of blown up the media away if it was announced to work on any smartphone 2 years ago is just mindboggling to me

They should keep the 1 inch sensor from last year and make the sensors from the ultrawide and telephoto cameras a lot larger .
Eventually getting to the point of having three 1 inch sensors in our pocket .

Motorola made a rollable phone (that was disappointingly not called the Motoroller),

LG made a smartphone with a swivel screen,

Sony made a smartphone that was half Playstation (or at least _tried_ to) but more interestingly created a dancing speaker (the Sony Rolly) and a dancing alarm clock (the Sony BSP60) and some phones with some pretty sleek looking LED lights (Xperia SP, Sony Ericsson W580i),

and Nokia went absolutely nuts for a time and made all kinds of weird phones (Highlights being the Nokia 7280 and the Nokia N-gage)

imagine what would happen if these guys collaborated!
