I'm hyped for Wilds, but yeah, your comment on the Swaxe mirrors my complaints on the Glaive, plus the stupid fact that most damage came from holding buttons, which is weird for a fast and mobile weapon

I'm glad swaxe is one of the weapons theyre tuning up, it definitely felt a little limiting when trying to do good damage, especially with the counter having so much chip damage

Swaxe was pretty nice in the beta despite the counters, offset and Full Release Slash being janky for their own reason... They did say it was a weapon they are tweaking but for now they only buffed gauge fill and previously mentioned Full Release Slash...
They're trying but it's not quite it imo, although it's always subject to change so I keep hope!!!
