Hidden/Rare Chao Gardens

Today I am going over some of the most hidden/rare chao gardens that exist in Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2! These are all amazing gardens and deserve a lot more attention than they currently get!

Sonic Adventure 2 (Japanese: ソニックアドベンチャー2 Hepburn: Sonikku Adobenchā Tsū?) is a platform video game developed by Sonic Team USA and published by Sega for the Dreamcast console and the last Sonic game to be released for a Sega console and is a sequel to 1998's Sonic Adventure. It was released in North America, Europe, and Japan in June 2001 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The game was ported to the Nintendo GameCube and re-titled Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (ソニックアドベンチャー2 バトル Sonikku Adobenchā Tsū Batoru?), with brand-new features as well as minor changes in the level design. The original game and content from Battle was released in high-definition on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in October 2012. A version for Microsoft Windows was released in November 2012.

The game takes place after the events of its predecessing game: Sonic Adventure. The series antagonist Doctor Eggman releases Shadow the Hedgehog, who joins Eggman and treasure hunter Rouge the Bat to steal the seven Chaos Emeralds. The game's story focuses on the protagonists Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna and Miles "Tails" Prower as they attempt to stop Eggman and Shadow from collecting the Chaos Emeralds.

Oh that ARK one is so cool. I've theorized for a long time that something like that should exist in canon, so it's really cool to see it in practice! After all, if Chaos is a mutated Chao and Gerald was conducting research to create Artificial Chaos, he'd need Chao to run experiments on up on the ARK. Chao are very picky with their environments, so he couldn't just keep them in a room somewhere, he would need to make a proper Chao Garden for them to live in. I like to believe that in the 50 years since the ARK was shut down, that Chao Garden has overgrown that wing of the station and now Chao are wandering free through the labs, hehe

The idea of an ARK chao garden is cool. I would like to see one designed like it is somewhere deeper in the colony. Like the ground and trees look right but the walls are all metal and maybe some patches of sky to look like they tried to add an artificial sky to the place.

I love your Chao videos and this one impressed me as for what custom gardens I would like (or would make if I had the skills and tools necessary) I would make 12 gardens based off Locations in the 4 Discs/Chapters of Legend of Dragoon (3 Gardens of each type Hero, Neutral and Dark for each Chapter)

Chapter One Gardens (Based in Locations in North and South Serdio): Hero: Bale, Indels Castle, Lohan, Shrine of Shirley. Neutral: Seles, Forest, Meadow. Dark: Kasas, Hellena Prison, Black Castle(the castle in Kasas), Volcano Villude, Nest of Dragon.

Chapter 2 Gardens (Based on Locations in Tiberoa/Illisa Bay): Hero: Donau. Neutral: Fletz, Fueno, Queen Fury, Twin Castle. Dark: Phantom Ship, Valley of Corrupted Gravity, (similarly named location not the Sonic one) Prison Island.

Chapter 3 Gardens(Based on Locations in Mille Seseau): Hero: Furni, Forest of Winglies. Neutral: Evergreen Forest, Crystal Palace, Deningrad, Snowfield, Fort Magrad. Dark: Mountain of Mortal Dragon, Neet, Vellweb, Kadessa/Forbidden Land, Tower of Flanvel.

Chapter 4 Gardens (Based on Locations in Gloriano, Endiness[the continent LOD takes place in where the other countries are in and these are new areas I'm referring to], Wingly Cities, The Moon That Never Sets) Hero: Ulara. Neutral: Rouge, Cities in the Moon that Never Sets, Aglis. Dark: Final Area in the Moon That never sets(Boss area), Zenabatos, Mayfil.

These are just areas I can think of that would fit the Vibes and I couldnt just pick a solid 3 for the most part for some as I think they are areas that fit that Vibe. if anyone has played Legend of Dragoon let me know which areas you would pick for Gardens of each type and if you would just pick 3 areas overall or do what I did and pick 3 (or more if there are multiple fitting areas) from each Chapter.

The Ark one is my personal favorite in just pure looks alone. So cool and I love the picture of Shadow, Gerald and Maria there too. Places for the trees to go, and places for the water. Super nice all around.

The Garry's Mod one is cool. Not my cup of tea, but nice.

The tamodotchi one is cute. :)

*Sees Destiny Islands and sceams internally.* Kingdom Hearts in Sonic! Just like Garry's Mod import, Destiny Islands is from another game, that being Kingdom Hearts... 1 in this case. Destiny Islands is the main character Sora's home world and is easily the best choice for a chao garden outside of, say, Traverse Town, Dark World, Scala Ad Calum, and The Final World.
