Got an M50 and 0 regrets. Do I use the power on my regular drive? Nah, but when I do it feels great.

It’s probably smarter and a better value to buy the 30…but no one is buying a luxury SUV for value. If everyone chose based on that they’d end up in a Toyota. It’s like expensive jewelry, it’s not “worth it” objectively but it makes you feel good.

I have the M50 and it’s pretty quiet and smooth riding. I came out of an X-5 and don’t miss it. The X-5 was even smoother ride though.

The suppleness of the ride of this new gen X3 is finally comparable, if not better, than the Mercedes. I did not expect the X3's ride to be so soft and supple this time around. It's supple even in sport+, which shocked me..

As a G01 owner, I'm not compelled to upgrade in the slightest. This is less attractive in its styling and also less practical in its user interface.

I have an M50. Love everything about it. I like that everything is on the screen. Definitely takes some getting used to but really like the cleaner looking cabin. What's special about your backpack?

Just ordered this as my new company car. Really wanted a 330 sedan, but they took it off the list this year. They only offered the X3 in 30 model and without an Msport option. That was a bit of a bummer. But hey figure for a free car, I can’t go wrong! Hoping I like it long-term as much as I did on the test drive. Will start looking for an aftermarket top grill, as I find it very off putting. And I will tint it as soon as it comes in (late March). I also have a ‘23 X5m50i as my personal car. It is an absolute fire-breathing beast that I love driving.

Can you confirm if the X3 xDrive30 or M50 was more comfortable in Comfort mode? I am planning to test drive the M 50 this weekend but I want to make sure to check out the other one as well.

As long as it has nice wheels and the M sport steering wheel, the 30 is fine. Base model regular steering wheel with 2 spokes is hideous

Hmmm tempting choice for a daily! Would be good to get one in for some more MPG testing 🤔

I would like to have a Turn
Signal Camera view when turn signal is engaged. Is there a way to add the software for it? It already has the camaras

I've noticed clear water stains under the center of my new 2025 BMW X3. The liquid is clear, odorless, and evaporates without leaving any residue.

I'm seeing signs of water dripping from the muffler, so exhaust condensation remains a strong possibility rather than A/C drainage. I can clearly see water droplets forming at both the front and rear connections of the muffler to the exhaust pipes.

I've heard that many modern BMW exhaust systems are designed with small weep holes at the lowest point of the muffler or exhaust pipe to allow condensed water vapor to drain out. These holes prevent water from pooling inside the muffler, which could otherwise cause internal rust or corrosion over time. The drainage holes are usually small (a few millimeters in diameter) and positioned on the underside of the muffler or near pipe joints.

Is it common for water to leak from the muffler?

Drove both. And the 50 was a hoot to drive. But in in end the 30 with a couple of options, (real leather, comfort package) for under 50k US was my choice long term. Lower maintenance cost and insurance was a bonus. I couldn't see a 15k premium for the 50. It is intoxicating though!

The b58 is a smarter reliability and resale choice.

Not thrilled with the whole new design. And this is how it’s going to look like for years and years to come. The interior is truly mind boggling esp that funky door handle and criss cross pattern. I will hold my breath and may consider to get the new m50 solely for the engine and how it drives and if and only if one day my m40i stopped working or burns to the ground. 😂

With both the X3 and 5 Series the exterior is ok, but with both the interiors are unacceptable to me, both look cheap and too plain. Modern can look expensive if done right and they are just too interested in cutting cost and raising profits.

For a 2025 M3 car priced well over $100K, I expected BMW to pay more attention to the finer details. That said, I must admit that the map system in my 2025 X5M Competition has seen a significant improvement—it’s just as accurate as Google Maps and other top services. The display and color quality are also exceptional, making for a truly impressive experience.
However, the sound system in my 2025 M3 Competition xDrive is a huge miss for BMW. The Harman Kardon system in my M3 is disappointing, especially compared to the Bowers & Wilkins system in my 2025 X5M. I really wished BMW had invested more into the H&K sound system. With only 465 watts per channel, it falls short, especially when compared to the 600 watts per channel systems in many Honda and Acura models.

Have a loaded 2020 g01 x3, the amount of plastic in the new model is absolutely horrendous.

they ruined it looks wise... it's as if they're trying to make it look like an EV.
