C’mon dude let’s call it what it is, it’s cheap plastic on a luxury brand car with a luxury car price tag. BMW got this horribly wrong.

You can’t charge a premium price for this car while providing customers with such awful, low-quality materials. Even a five-year-old can notice the quality difference between the new generation and the previous one. This is not an electric car, and your target audience wants something else.

This is just sad and you’re in denial. I love BMW, but it’s obvious on all new models how much cost they’re cutting. Previous gen was peak bmw, new gen is not good at all

Gigantic touch button : feels cheap, just like my microwave oven.
Plastic door handles : previous model where plastic but still metal plated.
Idrive controller used to be touch, now it's a piece of transparent plastic with another glossy capacitive plate instead of buttons.
Shift knob used to be leather backed, now it's a plastic flipper thing.
Glossy plastic on the steering instead of a rubberized texture : cost cutting again.

Yes !! REALLY! Cheap awful interior! I Seen it in person and it’s still cheap and horrible ! And you know that, you’re just being bias because 🫵🏾you have to sell these, but our comments still stands!I can’t wait to take the JD powers survey! I currently have a 23 x3M40 and my interior looks Entirely better! Most can agree with that! When my lease is up. I’m most likely not getting this M50. The only thing this SUV has going is the Eng transmission, and idrive 9 and that’s pushing it!

I never comment on YT videos. I own a 2019 X3 and it is far superior in the quality of materials used. Even the plastics used are of very high quality than the ones used on the new model. I wanted to upgrade to this new model, but when I sat in one and drove it just didn't feel the same level of premium. I will hold on to my car for until BMW figures out their path in terms of design and material choices.

Wow can’t believe you just said that. I love bmws and I went to see the X3 today at the dealership. The interior quality on certain areas, especially the door, it’s not just bad, it’s SHOCKING. The worst one was the one you missed to show, the one where the window switches are. It is something even Dacia wouldn’t dare put on a Duster.
