what I recommend is puting place build on the right button of your mouse rather than your left. So you dont have to click left mouse button to build and to edit. You can hold it and it would make it so much easier. Giving you the advantages for a secondary build bind and none of the disadvantages.

since i have double movement i have my place builds secondary bind as w so when i move forward it places

If you use the second bind, it will be hard to do triple edits or double edits after 90s

I don't like it because it makes me place unnecessary builds sometimes, but I mostly play on controller anyways so

I'm currently doing this it is worth the try if you are new to keyboard you will learn how to build faster you will just have to change 1 bind and practice pressing that bind.

there are a bit iìof problems with this imo, i use left click to place builds and a side mouse button to select edits, its better imo cuz u have more control

But how would u do precise build placements that requires specific crosshair placements for it to work
For creative sure but for comp where u need to be as consistent and as precise as possible, i dont see the point

i have a solution to this unfortunately it requires an intermediate device hopefully that can change in the future but essentially ps4 controller is my combat sticks and i hate paddles so i came up with a little something that adds paddles on command

am going to rework it to m&k as welll

Apparently if you tie your analog stock on Ur controller to the left, it gives you double movement on kbm. Can u try it.
