Hanchurch Woods - Who would have thought that Stoke-On-Trent had such great trails nearby

I'd heard that there was great mountain biking at Hanchurch Woods and had seen a few videos from there but until you go yourself, you don't really know what to expect. Although I did manage to get out once before this since the rules were relaxed, this was the first chance to ride with Marc and Will so six of us met up to go exploring and have a laugh on what turned out to be a beautiful Spring morning.

Cracking day this, really surprised how much they have here as well, and it is local to me for once as in under an hour away 🤣
That last trail was fantastic, will fully get over that step down soon haha.

Great looking location. You definitely don't need a big hill for great trails. I know a few massive hills (mountains) that have very long, but very dull trails.

I get what you say about flow trails. Steep tech is good but you have to mix it up now and again 😂
