XC Racer's Course Description - " Forestry work and busy trail fairies mean we have a new course for this years race to keep things fresh. After sprinting away from the start, it's straight into a climb right up to the top of the lap and into 'Son of Ledge', a root infested descent that rewards sharp bike handling skills. More singletrack follows as you sweep down through the arena, past the feed zone and back into the trees. Onwards and downwards to the 'Badger Trail' and 'Perimeter' -- rollercoaster singletrack with fun, rooty ups and downs. All top notch big ring riding, keeping the average speed high before the 'Little Dipper' and 'Big Dipper'. Hit them fast enough and you hardly need to pedal up the other side! Still not dropped your rivals? Time to put the hammer down along the last section of singletrack before the fireroad drag to the finish." I'd be interested to see it on a map so I could go and ride the route living only a couple of miles away. I have ridden a lot of Hanchurch but I never see trails as good as most of those featured in this video!
