TIm i have notice you upload the VHD filename win2016-fixed.vhd (TIME: 7:24) to create an image file in Azure. But the one you show to convert with the filename windows2016b.vhd its different.

Everything was "windows2016b.vhd" and then at 7:24 you browsed out to the storage blob and said "and then we'll grab that fixed .vhd we just uploaded" and you selected the win2016-fixed.vhd instead of the windows2016b.vhd file that you were referring to the entire time.

Thanks for sharing. I had an .ova file and pulled the vmdk file from it and extracted the vhd file using the vboxmanage utility via command line. Ran into an issue when trying to create a managed image from the blob storage vhd because I didn't set the flag for the image to be fixed. Corrected it and worked like a charm. Thank you

Hi Tim! Great video - I wonder if you could do one that looks at migrating a VM from VMWare Worksation Pro into Azure. I've made several attempts my self and can confirm I've gotten as far as a functional VM on Azure but it won't let me RDP in!!

Great video except you didn't actually create the storage blob or VM from the image you uploaded. You selected the "fixed" from 4 days prior rather than the 2016b.

Fantastic video! But as usual with Microsoft Azure, everything changed (is now Storage Explorer, no upper menus anymore), no one step is working.
Two days to move a very basic working VM from local HyperV to Azure without success, I give up! Way too complex, way too slow, huge dissapointment, waste of time.
