Skyline Sessions: The Helio Sequence - 'Stoic Resemblance'

While on tour this month, the Portland, Oregon-based alternative rock duo The Helio Sequence visited Houston Public Media's Geary Studio to record a couple songs off their recent self-titled album. Known for a sculptural and atmospheric sound that utilizes electronically processed keyboard, bass and guitar loops, singer-guitarist Brandon Summers and drummer Benjamin Weikel opted to record acoustically for their Geary session. They performed the songs "Battle Lines" and "Stoic Resemblance."
