Im sorry but where in that article did it say “switching her gender”? They are still a valid non-binary person. I agree that gender roles do exist because we have constructed them. But, I also think those roles shouldn’t be set in stone and can fluctuate between partners depending on the relationship. Accidentally misgendering is not the problem, it’s when you go out of your way to be disrespectful and ignorant that it does

I have a genuine question, if demi feels like adding on to their pronouns or changing their pronouns, why is it looked down upon? Why not just let them do it? I mean even if they are confused, why not let them figure it out and see what works best for them?

There are already people like that. I remember seeing a video where a girl had three bracelets of different colors and she explained that each one represented different pronouns. She/her, they/them, and I think he/him. She even got annoyed with herself because she said her gender changes sometimes hourly. And the end of the video she's wearing all of them and says "I'm all the genders right now so I'm wearing them all.". I really, really hope this world is just a simulation 'cause it's getting crazy here.

I visited with a 15 yr old young woman this past winter who I have known for 2 winters. She was so excited to share that she was now not the name I knew "M" but now was "T". And announced she had some 28 pronouns. Sorry I took her parents lead & kept referring to her as "M". Her Mom told us in her presence, I gave birth to a daughter whose name I carefully & thoughtfully selected. I am not about to change that now.
