Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato first met when they both appeared on the children's television show "Barney & Friends" and they quickly became best friends. Selena and Demi were always seen together during their teenage years and often referred to each other as "sisters." But things first turned rocky when Demi was asked by a fan how Selena Gomez was doing, and Demi responded with a shocking response. Demi said that she didn't know how Selena was doing and that fans should ask Taylor Swift about how Selena is doing, which was a sign to everyone that Demi felt like Taylor Swift stole Selena from her. Many years later, Selena Gomez admitted that she and Demi grew apart because of their busy schedules but fans discovered what really happened. Fans believe that Demi Lovato made a secret Instagram account to bash Gomez because Demi accidentally went live from that secret Instagram account, the two have since unfollowed each other on all social media and who knows if they'll speak again.

They don't think the same now, all is different, it's simple. They went through different ways and each one has their own lives. I can even say it's natural, I had many friends that I thought we would be so so close and best for the rest of my life, and nowadays we don't talk often or hang out anymore, I don't hate them because of that. It's the same with Selena and Demi.

Since when Demi has done anything except cutting off someone who was never a good friend to begin with? 😒
