Him knowing exactly where to play limits her options. His prediction can be rotated and there are only 4 possible outcomes.
You can see him looking down at the game they played and back at his prediction to know which way to display it.

The only way to fuck up his prediction is letting him win

He went first, and he went in the center. that means that no matter where she goes, he can place a 2 in a row and force her to block him. The final shape of the board is locked in to what he wants it to be, and you can of course rotate the prediction.

I like how she was initially sort of impressed he just guessed a tie

Letting this guy win just to mess with him would be insanely funny

Having Brian from a dad must be fun and entertaining

I remember when he taught us this trick like 7 years ago back in his spiky hair days 😂😂

The first thing that came to mind when he said that he made a prediction was intentionally losing the game.

The trick is to push them into a combination that makes the "prediction" possible in terms of placement and then reorienting the "prediction" based on the board

Man I’ve been watching scam school since the spiky hair Brian in a bar days of early YouTube and it has only gotten better

Yeah it’s pretty easy to predict that stuff. Me and a mate played tic tac toe for multiple classes instead of the work simply to find out how to always win or tie and never lose and the patterns that arise can be predicted based on the first move.

You can force all opponent moves after the first one, and the corners are the only not losing opponent moves so everything is symmetrical

If you go first you can force a tie. He knows where he is going to play and knows what plays she has to make to avoid losing.

Every possible tie with X in the middle is the same board rotated. Meaning you can turn the "prediction" and you'll end up with the correct solution.

So there are a few moves that he would need to do, then based on the outcome he rotates the "prediction board" so that they look the same.

Which is why their play board was vertically aligned but the prediction board was horizontally aligned

There are only w ways to tie, and the funny part is, the prediction is the other pattern 😂😂

Play first and play center.

If they play corner, play left (or right) and if they play edge, play the opposite of what you did for the corner, it’s a force draw every time, and in the same layout.

No. If you start with cross in the middle and both people are aware of how not to lose, there's only one way for the board to turn out, depending on where you're looking

Tick tack toe is a solved game. The person that goes first can not lose as long as a specific formula is fallowed. So long as the second person doesn’t mess up it will always end in a tie and the layout of the board will always be the same just rotated.
