Alice Pearce’s Gladys was nice and funny, Sandra’s Gladys was sassy and mean sometimes.

I know its probably never easy to step into a role left by another actor, that said, I much preferred the first Gladys Kravitz aka Alice Pierce. to Gladys two portrayed by Sandra Gould.
Alice portrayed a admittedly nosey, but otherwise mild natured neighbor,
whereas Sandra took the character to a much more petty, mean spirited place at least in my humble opinion.
