Why can’t us black and coloured people build up our areas apart from government? Look at SA now. It’s struggling under ANC! As a Black person in the U.S. who appreciates the history of many "Negro" townships in the U.S. at one time that was completely self sufficient, and according to the constitution of South Africa of self determination there can be an exclusive Black township as well. I see no reason why Black people of means in South Africa can't do the same.

When I sat down to think about racism, I realized that it is very natural to prefer to be with people who look like you, talk like you and live like you. It gives a sense of belonging to the people with similarities to bond and even start new families. But, what that doesn't entail is that they start feeling superior and deprive other of their own resources

Im a black south African and proudly so, but with all the corruption and crime in this country, I am happy there's a place where children are safe in the streets....we live in a sub, fencing and guards, yet we still never safe.leave these people alone, racists or not!

I live 30 kms from Orania. This is simply NOT true. I have worked in Orania over the last couple of years, eaten in the restaurants, stayed in the resort, enjoyed the company of the local residents. They have never made me feel second rate. I am a person of colour.

I used to trust WION's reports from around the globe, but this has made me think about the trust-worthiness of the reporting.
