No matter which side you support this can't go on forever. Two groups with widely diverging ideologies are forced to convene together.

I had always thought this conflict was too complex and advanced for me to understand. Now I understand that it was too stupid and immature of a conflict for me to ever understand.

I think it’s worth mentioning what happened after the six day war. Israel returned a large chunks of land to the Arab countries in exchange for peace deals. Israel could be much larger than it is right now if they wanted to be.

This is just wrong.
Up to 1967, the west bank and gaza strip belonged to Egypt and Jordan. There was not entity named "Palestine". The golan belonged to Syria.
The 1967 wasn't about Palestinians. It was a war with the neighbouring countries.
In 2005 there was no deal! It was a one sided retreat from Gaza...

Hezbollah is not located in Iran /:

Very disappointing

Literally, the first few minutes are factually incorrect, there is no evidence of a mass-migration of israelites from egypt to where modern israel is, and in fact, every piece of archeological evidence suggests that israelites were simply among the many cultures that emerged in that region.

The minute and 20 seconds is total rubbish, and that was enough for me.

The irony is the British Empire double crossed both nations in order for their greedy gains.
They promised both the land. But who gave the British the right to decide where the oppressed Jewish community will live.

Now the Arabs are seriously pissed (put yourself in the shoes of Palestine)
You wake up one day to be told a foreign community will love in your backyard, before you finish your breakfast.
All your belonging your family kicked out of your own home (for jewish settlements)..
Now you told to live in an open air prison camp. That's what Palestine and Gaza is currently.

Now the Jews are committing oppression against the Palestinians the exact cruel experience the went through (they doing the same)

I liked the idea of the simplification of a complex problem because it allows for the seeing of the woods from the trees.

However this is poorly researched and has too many false statements. There are also important things facts omitted.

For example: the clip claims
Palestine had support from Syria and Egypt in 1967 in its aggression against Israel. Simply not true. There was no such thing as Palestine. The Arabs in the West Bank and in gaza were simply Arabs of Jordan and egypt respectively. This is important because the aggression had nothing to do with a Palestinian cause.

In another example: The plo was not formed in response to the 1967 war. It was formed in 1962. With the express purpose of the eradication of the state of Israel.

The idea of Arab aggression due to wishing to liberate the West Bank and Gaza is a myth. It is about the entire land between the river and the sea and the eradication of the Jewish state.

You are wrong from 1950 - somewhere around 2000.

1. Arabs rejected the 1948 partition, where Israel was promised 55% of The Holy Land. The Arabs initiated a war of extermination, which Israel won, known as the Israeli War For Independence. This let to Israel reclaiming the 23% of land that made Israel own 78% of The Holy Land. Palestine still wasn’t independent after this. Jordan integrated Judaea and Samaria while Egypt integrated the Gaza Strip. And in 1967, the Soviets, hoping to counter the US influence in the region, sent a telegram to Cairo informing Nasser of around 11 - 13 brigades of Israeli infantry on the Syrian border, (which owned the Golan Heights. Israel didn’t get the Golan Heights until after the 6 day war) and this mobilization is disputed, with some claiming they actually did. Egypt then initiate a naval blockade of Eilat through the strait of tiran, which was the only Israeli access to the Red Sea, bypassing the Suez. This let to Israel damaging the UN base in Tel Aviv so the US didn’t hear about the coming attacks, as Israel launched operation focus against Egyptian, Jordanian, and Syrian air bases. Then Israel initiated ground campaigns against the Arab states, seizing the Sinai, Gaza, Judaea and Samaria, and the Golan Heights. After that, the 18 day Yom Kippur War started in 1973, which Israel won by crossing the Suez and advancing on Cairo, which led to in 1979 Egypt and Israel participating the the Camp David Accords, mediated by the US, with Israel withdrawing from the Sinai by 1981 in return for Egypt recognizing Israel. Then in 1988, the PLO, a coalition of Arab terrorist groups, declared independence, launching the first intifada, which lead to Fatah and Israel mediating a peace accords in 1993, known as the Oslo accords II, one again mediated by the US, but failed miserably in 2004, leading to the second intifada. In 2006, after the Israeli withdraw from Gaza, democratic elections were held across palestine, with Hamas winning a majority in both regions, but Fatah held onto power in Judaea and Samaria through military campaigns. This would lead to the Palestinian division through civil war. In 2008, Israel offered another peace deal with Palestine, which was aggressively rejected by Palestine, starting low-level violence along with the Israeli-Hezbollah war of 2006. And on 2014, Hamas launched about ~4.250 rockets into Israel, after the introduction of the Iron Dome system, with an Israeli invasion of Gaza somewhere between 2014 and 2018, leading to a withdrawal from the strip. Then in 2023, Hamas launched ~3.500 rockets into Israel, followed by an incursion with spearheads towards Beerscheba, starting the newest war between the two.
