Flight departments and jet owners call me when they need a pilot, whether their pilot is in training, on vacation, or if they’ve just bought a new jet and don’t have a crew yet. My daily rate is $2,500, but on newer jets, rates go up to $3,500 per day. Flying full-time could bring in $75,000 to $105,000 a month!
