If you’re confused about why this doesn’t work in bedrock:

It requires “quasi-connectivity”, which is a glitch only in Java edition. Pistons have some copied code from doors, meaning they can receive redstone signals from one block above them. The community liked it too much and it hasn’t been removed since.

Here’s the bedrock version

1. Build up to the height you want

2.place an oberver any direction you’ll eventually see how to use it after experimenting

3. Place a sticky piston then 2 blocks of slime (it has to be a sticky piston it can’t be normal

4. Now do a turn in the opposite direction and go to the right of your machine

5. Go a bit back then place an another observer

6.place a normal piston if you want it flying endlessly or a sticky piston if you want it to go back and forth

7. Place another 2slime on the sticky or normal piston
