I have listened to every podcast since 2009. Across all Naked Scientist channels. This is great, Chris you and your team could have one of the best science channels on Youtube and do so much for science and education if you started doing videos, explaining things, maybe with animations and hands on science. I have never heard anyone explain things so well, and Ive been trying for years to consume content from all avenues.
I thank you so very much, for making me understand the world through science. I wonder how many hours of information I have consumed of Chris and the team.

I've heard that people will transfer your consciousness digitally, but wouldn't that just be a replica of your consciousness?

I just thought of a question. I play computer games. I'm 69 years old, and I _love_ computer games. :) And I've seen articles about how scientists can induce out-of-body experiences in a lab, as well as other experiences about tricking a person's mind into feeling that someone else's arms belong to _them_ (something like that, at least).

What are the chances that, someday, we could get computer games where the game-player feels like they're _in_ the body of their character? Instead of always knowing we're just sitting at a keyboard, moving a mouse, could we ever get a game where we'd know it's just a game, and we'd know we weren't _really_ that character, but we'd still _feel_ like we were, being able to move normally and perceive things in the game more-or-less as we do in real-life?

So just continuing on the topic of the brain transplant and how the brain is bad at repairing itself....why is stem cell treatment not a viable option in this situation (ie helping nerves & neurons to regenerate)?
