Avene is readily available in drugstores across Canada( thanks to our French heritage). After a trip to France, I was sold on the line, especially their cream to powder SPF 50. Stellar product, one and done for my summer outdoor life.

I think for affordable alternatives to the Merit and Bobbi Brown brushes, the ELF Ultimate Blending and Putty Primer brushes could be close. Ultimate Blending is more like the BB shape while the Putty Primer (the one with a little scoop on the other end) is smaller and more compact like the Merit one, though a little more domed/rounder.

Thanks! I, too, would love to stick with one product line for ease of purchase…. But not always possible. Surprisingly you mention Trinny and I hate waiting on it to arrive from the UK but it have really been liking her BFF cream this summer. 😊 I’ve worn it solo with a little glossier concealer… love, love, love it!

You should try japanese spf. They are cheap and very cosmetically elegant. My favorite is the Kose Suncut UV Essence.

Edited to add it cost around $13-14 for around 4 ounces I think.
