When I was 16 I got my grandpas 73 c-10. Had a 350 in it and 76000 miles in 1996 when I got it. I put a monster tach on the column and figured out how to mess with the rpm cutoff knob and make it backfire. After about 2 months of this it shattered a piston skirt and bounced the broken pieces between the piston and crank. It ruined the original motor and dad was PISSED! To this day, damn near 30 years later, my butthole still puckers when I hear cars backfire.😂
