How to Clean a Dusty PS4

Mine sounded like a 747 taking off, when I'm in party chats with my friends they always complained about how loud it was, just cleaned it but it's not as loud as it was before, (Thank God) but now I cannot have my friends complain. Thanks for this awesome video 👍🏼

overall you did well but you could've blown some compressed air through that fan to get rid of most of the dust stuck in the heatsink

Cleaned mine the other day from outside to everything on the inside was soooo much dust and hair just stuck together covering the heatsink, replacing the thermal paste aswell. and it's sooo quiet and plays so smooth now 😂

The cooler fan is always the most dirty component of any console.

It's quite underrated but without it, the whole system is useless.

A little too fast. If you fail to reconnect the ribbon wiring going to the fan, will the fan not work? I’m not sure I reconnected it. The screw that secures the cover to that part of the unit stripped, and I can’t double check. The fan and the whole console works okay, but I’m still not sure it won’t melt out.

how do you take the lid off ? i can slightly lift where the screws were, the rest is attached somewhere underneath hidden...

You can get the safty torque bits at most hardware stores

I have my PS4 for seven years and never clean it but it's still working. I'm planning to clean it soon but it won't be me though, I'm gonna need a help.

It doesn't work for me even after i cleaned it . Nownit it only sounds like a jet on different games which it never did before. Does the fan need to be replaced?

The hardest thing to do is unscrew the right screw by the middle screw at the top of the ps4
