▶ About me!
I'm a motovlogger from Phoenix, Arizona! I've been riding motorcycles since 2015. My first motorcycle I learned how to ride on was a Suzuki GS500F. After taking a motorcycle safety course and finally gaining some confidence on the streets, I decided to purchase my second motorcycle. A Honda CBR600RR. I still own that motorcycle to this day! After some time passed I decided to add another motorcycle to the family. So I purchased a Yamaha FZ-07. That's another bike I still have to this day! Again, more time passed and guess what I did. I purchased my final bike, as of now. A Honda Grom!

▶ What's a motovlog?
A motovlog is a type of video log recorded by a person while riding a motorcycle or any motorized vehicle. The word is a neologism and portmanteau derived from "motorcycle", "video" and "log". A rider who creates video blogs known as a motorcycle blogger, and the action of making motovlogs is called motovlogging.

Happens in Wisconsin that’s why you see little plastic or metal coasters under the stand so they don’t sink.

As an Arizonan myself, I can confirm this. One even, I had this plastic ramp where we’d go in this car and ride down. And one day the entire back was just melted off, fortunately there were two layers so we could still use it, but when I first saw it as a little kid I thought it was because a firework went wrong or something.

I lived in Arizona for half my life and this still made me say "what?!" out loud lol never heard of something like that but I know about being able to cook eggs on the pavement

This happens here in the the dc area too. A trick I learned was after you finish your can of soda. Stomp on it flat from top to bottom and you can use that to prevent your bike tipping over when the asphalt melts

That guy is lucky! I've seen many motorcycles fall over because the kickstand sinks so deep into asphalt. Our school parking lot had little metal plates in the MC parking area to prevent that. (I'm a 41 year resident of Phoenix)

Even happens 3 hours north of Toronto in the hot summer days. Shops sell plastic coasters on a cord. 35c is common in northern Ontario.

Asphalt gets pretty soft in heat. Big trucks will tear it right up if they turn to sharp

I always carried an aluminum can in side bag. It was flattened sideways and worked great to keep this from happening.

Even in Wisconsin few years back on blacktop, kickstand was about 2" sunk! Another fifteen minutes, maybe dessert, bike would've tipped!!! Need a coaster for your kickstand they work well

As a child I had that happen with just a bicycle kickstand on a hot day in the northeast. It's always a concern with asfault which is essentially just a bunch of aggregate tarred together.
