If you’ve been using Apple notebooks for a while, you may’ve noticed how hot they get when sitting on your lap or playing games. While many PC notebooks have a tendency so run much cooler. So why do Apple's MacBooks get so hot? Well that’s what I’ll explain in this video.

Well, Intel is the answer… Their processors run WAY hotter than they should. But thankfully the M lineup of processors comes to the rescue

bruh my M1 MacBook's CPU doesn't get above 35 Celcius, and I've never heard a fan turn on.

It's one of the reasons why Apple has never called the MacBook a "laptop." It was never intended to be used on the lap because of the ventilation issues.
