♥ ECREW
What is Ecrew? When I had to uproot and move to Indiana, there was a car community called Bcrew (B for Bloomington, Indiana). These guys became my family. Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. It's not supposed to be some childish "Logang squad." It's a community where you get to take 10min out of your day and be involved in a build, but more importantly it's a family.

Although Emelia’s videos are entertaining and interesting as hell you can’t ignore the fact of just how extremely professional she and everyone around her is.

Great channel she’s put together and love the collaborations she does with all of my other favorite YouTube content makers!

1 your going to be changing that clutch again. You launched it on a new clutch with no break in, I have a dual clutch and I've changed mine twice. They are only rated for 100k with normal driving.
About 30k with heavy load. If you aren't useing carbon clutch disks about 60k with carbon and full boost.
2. you did not preform a TCM relearning. So the clutch was not spaced properly before you launched it. This can cause serous issues later on Because now you possibly glazed the flywheel because you didn't preform a relearn and break in procedure. This can cause shock to the output shaft of the tranny, shock can come in the form of cracking, stripping, bending. Let's hope you didn't cause to much damage to that shaft of your gonna have one hell of a job on your hands
3 pay more attention to the details. Take 15 mim break during each torque session to allow studs to cool
A lifting head means it's not bolted at the right torque.
Your head studs/bolts are most likely the problem. After they have been slightly bent from.lifitng they are no good, it puts unnecessary stress on the threads.
Tho you can't see it with your eyes I bet the threads are rolled slightly.

Also the last cylender on the driver's side of the car next to the bumper cover you could see the piston was almost turned sideways inside the block it's pushing the pistons to 1 side and causing wear to the block and ringlets. You may have an issue with your thrust washers. I would remove the engine and check clearance of thrust. Easy way is to flip block over to expose crank. Then take a prybar and push the crank in either direction and measure the gap with a feeler gage.
Confer this Info with Texas speed and see what there thrust washer barring clearance is and make sure they are not too worn from stress. And 30lbs of boost. That even the most built super cars can't handle.

Of all Emelias content ...any C8 content is my favorite right now! Love it

Hi Emelia
I'm very concerned about 1 thing. When you sent the C8 engine to Texas Speed to have them put holes in your intake manifold for the extra injectors, etc, DIDN'T THEY PUT IN 2. THICKER HEAD GASKETS to lower your compression ratio, so as to make more room for the increased boost levels they knew you would be adding to the engine. You said in today's video you got new head gaskets from the dealer.
I also greatly admire how cheerful you always are --- even when things go wrong.& I appreciate your attempts to explain to all of us what it is you are trying to do. I'm glad it isn't any worse than it is.

Emelia, you guys never cease to amaze me. Awesome job like always

I'm kind of curious, if you were just being paranoid, and that milky oil is just caused from moisture from running ethanol or methanol. When you get either one of those into your oil, it will draw moisture into the oil. I'm betting the head gaskets were fine. Probably just need a fuel oil separator. Or air oil separator. Honestly not sure which one would be better in this situation.

Emelia, I finally picked up my C8 04-09-22, with my son Josh. The car is a beast, can't imagine how much more your C8 is, nor what yours will become. I have enjoyed all of your C8 footage as well as other videos. Thank you for sharing such awesome videos. Sounds like Phoenix is ready to soar, excited to see more of it's evolution.

Honestly shoutout to you guys for having the foresight to mount the turbos the way you did. I cant even imagine how much time it has saved you guys when pulling the engine

I wonder if the Chevy techs can pull an engine as quickly as you guys can now.🔥🔥🔥

While it's apart, check for cracks up from the main web to the cam bore from the oil squirter holes. That's a fun one

I'm amazed at how this engine has held up. Goes to show how good the builder is. Probably about time for a freshening up before it goes BOOM in a blaze of glory. I've put a hole in the side of a block before because of a head gasket going bad and it ain't fun.

It continues to amaze how you and your team are able to wrench on all these rides, and make it look so easy.
I know there is a lot of angst and stress behind the camera, but it is still very impressive.

Are you keeping the same head bolts? Aren't they stretched?
