In my 40s, I had a spontaneous K Awakening, still going for around five years now. It was brought on by hours of meditation every day. I had no clue what it was. At various points, I thought that maybe I had Brain Cancer, ALS, Psychosis, etc. It took around 6 to 9 months for me to figure out (and accept) that it was Kundalini. It took a lot for my rational, Scientifically-oriented brain to come to this conclusion. Growing up in Fundamentalist Christianity, I used to have existential crises about there being nothing beyond the physical world. But, after the Awakening, I know that, Somehow, there is More.
I should also add that I had thought that all New Age Concepts were hippie crazy BS. Boy, was my mind blown 🤯

Fascinating content. I just found your channel researching talks from Itzhak Bentov. Kundalini is still a mystery to me and will listen again for better understanding.

I've had this (both kundalini awakening and the harsh events rollercoaster) since 2012. For understanding consciousness I've been listening to a lot of the big-heads (Hoffman, Kastrup, Silberstein, Friston, Levin, Fields, Vervaeke, etc.) and I feel like Silberstein's take on contextual emergence and neutral monism might collapse best into a working narrative, to which I think Hoffman and Prakash as well as Friston are doing great at tracing the dynamics of life and consciousness through Markov chains, kernels, blankets, etc.. What's been tricky for me about this though - I was raised Catholic, when I decided to do something a bit wild I joined a few modern Hermetic orders, but it really feels like we're living under a more advaitic metaphysics. A tricky thing about this, in addition for those who've had a lot of trauma in their lives, is that you have load-bearing narratives about life having meaning or purpose such as transcendence or that the suffering of life has some desired end state - that's one of the things that can collapse and it's like watching a central pillar that kept everything together go down.

The only thing that is little in your power, when it happen is to SURRENDER.
Kriya Yoga for surrender with the hands like you are receiving.
Surrender in physical, emotional and conceptual way.

Ok so you know the ventricle enlargement in patients with schizophrenia isn't an enlargement of the brain itself right? It's actually the opposite. Instead of where we expect brain matter to be you instead have empty space filled with liquid. The old term "water head" was an insult thrown at people thought to be stupid due to a birth defect known as hydrocephalus, literally water on the brain. So what you're suggesting is that instead of the "water" in the ventricle enlargement in patients with schizophrenia being a negative it's actually a positive. Water can be a medium for standing acoustical waves, so maybe it is a positive. I don't think it's actually water but cerebrospinal fluid, which can facilitate communication in the body. Maybe humans just don't have a model for the type of reality schizophrenics see so they can't make any sense of it. As an aside I commented on your subsequent video on how I went through a period of psychosis like symptoms myself for a few years and no doctor could find anything wrong with me. Been over 20 years now and I'm as mentally "fit" as anyone else, so whatever it was couldn't have come from some type of permanent mental disorder.
