Can you make the black egg tempera? I was thinking just mixing some charcoal and egg yolk together?

Hi Antonis, do you make your own oilpaint with oil and pigments like the eggtempera, or do you use paint from the store? And what do you use as a medium for the oilpaint? I love watching your videos, very well done, thank you! Greetings from the Netherlands

Excellent tutorial as usual, Antonis. One question: at 2:10 you say that, before starting with oil colors, you either spray some varnish or apply a layer of linseed oil. Could you please explain us how you apply linseed oil? With a brush, or a rag, or what else? Isn't the egg tempera layer disturbed by the oil layer? Thank you.
