In this video, I show you my thrift (ukay ukay) finds, each step to cleaning a leather bag. From the first thing I do when I get the bag, through the last thing I do as part of the cleaning and restoring process. The term ukay-ukay is from the Filipino word halukay, which means "to sift through" or Filipino word hukay, "to dig". Tagolog: Ukay-Ukay is "DIG-DIG" which is an english word not used by native speakers. It is usually second hand items meaning segunda mano. However, even though it is second hand you can still find some items that has a tag in a thrift store or ukay ukayan.
