Using vinegar will soak into leather causing it to smell

1/ Who would let their handbag get as filthy as that?
2/ Basic science, vinegar is acid, baking soda is alkaline. That bubbling is them neutralising each other.
Just use a mild dish wash detergent in water, that is what will remove any soiling

I don’t believe that for a second. Some dirty bags are stained with grease produced naturally by human hands. The video shows a bag stained with simple dirt.
