I think you misunderstood what Paul meant by “Did she deserve this?”. Paul was referring to how the tabloids were attacking Nicole for sensationalism. He wasn’t asking if she deserved to be murdered.🤔

He points out the obvious, that people in a rush to be entertained miss. It isn't about entertainment, it's about honor, integrity, accountability and reality. O. J. Simpson killed 2 people and got away with it. Any person whom watched that trial unfold and were able to see all of the evidence, knew he was guilty. His attorneys were simply better than the career prosecutors whom tried him. The prosecutors failed to do the hard work of researching the science. They tried not to win the case, but acted in ways that seemed they were trying not to lose. When media rushes to release a story, they do it to get it out first, before their competition. That's when they either make mistakes or make up parts that are missing. Intelligent people, would rather have an accurate portrayal of the facts, than a half true story. Integrity and honor, should be the attributes we all require of ourselves and others, especially journalist. That's not what's happening today. Entertainment value and celebrity status, factor in far too often. Paul was correct, when we allow anyone to violate our Bill of Rights and the Constitution that contains it, that's too far!

Paul could be quite the comedian. But i think once he started losing his voice, he started growing bitter. Like in his book...i thought he would have more of a sense of humour when looking back at his life, but everything in his book seemed to be taken so seriously

You're impressed that Maher knew about Kiss removing their makeup? Equally impressed that he knows the sky is blue?

Are you kidding? Why WOULDN'T Bill Maher have known about KISS, one of the biggest bands of the '70s? You're impressed that he knew that Paul's makeup was a star and that they had taken off their makeup in the early '80s? Like, it would have surprised me if Maher did NOT know these things!

Miss the 90's, and 80's of course

KISS were bigger than the Beatles during the late 70'es, so Maher not knowing about them and the make-up would have been the real surprise.

Let's NEVER forget that both Bill Mahar AND Whoopie Goldberg both started out as failed stand up comics!

5:25 Paul began
"The problem the way OJ is covered... ".
In this context you must see his question: "Does she deserve it?".
He said that this is the problem!
Cat, I think you are shooting the messenger.

did she "deserve it" as in the "slanted coverage" is what he most likely meant. Although I'm sure someone already pointed that out, being that I'm late to the party.

i saw this episode when it aired. Yes, they gave Paul short shrift, because he was obviously the "long-haired hooligan" amongst this panel of suited elitists, but every time he did manage to speak up, it was, as above, quite insightful. They were talking over him a lot also, which is why we see him interrupt RFK above - he was just getting his own back in asserting that he had something to say.

Why is the narrator of this video whispering? He can barely be heard. More from the diaphram please. You gotta really shout it out if you want to make your point.

I saw this. Paul barely participated, and that's why he made the comment about getting someone water. Gene was on that week, too, and as you'd expect, pretty much took over the show.

NICE to see QUARK sitting behind Kramer there in that Seinfeld still! (In Hooman disguise of course!)

Paul Stanley has insulted Ace Frehley ever since he left the band. Even though Ace came up with the Kiss Logo, told Stanley to wear one star on his eye, and even let Stanley use Ace's first name "Paul Daniel Frehley"
Ace knows all kinds of dirt on Paul but has kept quiet about it. Ace was asked a very inappropriate question about Paul Stanley and answered it in a very intelligent way. Then they asked him what his thought were about Paul putting him down. Ace said "I love Paul and Gene. I know that they said I was fired for my drug use and alcohol but I was never fired from Kiss or any band. Every time I left Kiss, I quit. It's a lot being in Kiss and I have nothing but respect for Paul & Gene, still doing it. It takes a lot out of you doing shows like that every night. That's one of the reasons I drank all the time, back then."
I hope they all get together in a private room and talk over all the BS. before they die. "Metallica" did their "Some Kind Of Monster" video. I wish "Kiss" would do a video called "Put The Cat Out & Avoid The Lightning"
I wonder how many people would pay to see that on "Pay Per-view?"

I remember watching this at the time . Paul doesn't seem as Smart as I remembered. "innocence" ? There's a point of diminishing returns when trying to sound smart doesn't work if you haven't done the homework. He doesn't have a background in civil rights or law. He's been neutral so long we don't need his help anyway. "Lose of innocence " lame.
You know he spent days coming up with that shit.
