Yes! I can't stand it when books have the "Now a Major Motion Picture!" or "Now on Netflix!" sticker on them. I also believe dog-earing pages to be a crime against nature 😂

At least she only has dog ears and not fur!!!
I hate getting surprised with library markings. Espeacially off ebay.
Tanning/yellowing like the sunbleaching - hate it but you can actually sand it off if your OCD enough.
Remainder marks. Why???!!!

The stickers that are permanently on there just makes my heart break 💔 - Can it at LEAST be something that can be removed? And the whole ‘I’m reading so it’s ok to interrupt’ - yes, a thousand times yes to being a pet peeve 😂. I also feel like I need to read to the end of a chapter - it bothers me to stop at some random page 😊. Ahhh - the struggles of being a reader lol!

#5 drives me crazy. It would never fail that as soon as I picked up a book my ex-gf wanted to talk to me or just come bother me over and over for the time I was reading.

She's gonezo. My current gf doesn't do that.

Preface, I am a crafter.

I hate when a crafter takes a perfectly good book and tuns it into something else. Examples - a wreath, folded or cut art, paper michet, ect.

We obviously have similar pet hates because I nodded hard at all of these!
I would add when there’s a double spread fantasy map (mainly in paperbacks but sometimes hardbacks) but because of the way it’s bound you basically can’t see the middle of the map, what even is that 😂

Love the rants. :) here’s a weird one but some ebooks only let you see progress as percentage and not page amount. I hate that.

I like deckled edges in a writing journal, but can't stand them in a book. I also don't like stickers on books, especially the ones that are printed on the cover and can't be removed!

I water down a bit of rubbing alcohol to and use a cuetip to remove stickers from books. I HATE THEM!

I did not thing that the Great Ordeal being a different size than the other 6 would bother me but it does. And I dont like the change in cover style from PoN to AE.

I agree with all of these, except for the deckle edges. I love those, especially when it's on a classic. I really hate when they change a cover design in the middle, or even worse, at the end of a series. I've also run across series that were all published in hardcover except one or two that were only in trade paperback. And there is one that I'm collecting that is all paperback and then one in the middle is only in hardcover. I can't figure that out? Why!?
