Here's another good tip. As your car is turning, look in the driver's side mirror. When you can see BOTH headlights on the vehicle behind you (or all 3 barrels), immediately straighten the wheels. You'll get the proper angle almost every time.

One important thing you forgot: As you back up, you look behind you by turning your head both ways in addition to the mirror, otherwise they can fail you

Good video, EXCEPT, you made no mention of checking the blind spot before leaving the parking space. Drivers should always check the blind spot before leaving a parallel parking space.

They could do a better job explaining this and using animations so the viewers could understand what they’re supposed to see from the drivers side. And yes I’ve watched this 100 times and still don’t understand parallel parking

Nearly everyone I know that has a drivers license can't parallel park and avoids it at all cost. I've been asked to park people's car for them cuz they couldn't.
