People can clearly see she doesn't have a go pro or any recording device, yet they are puzzled when the pov down the slide is from someone else (the person behind at the start)

In the 1980s, a lot of waterslides collapsed because they were built using pipes that were too weak to support the weight.
Many areas passed laws requiring that water slides be built on solid earth & the park operators didn't want to go to the expense of moving that much dirt.
That's why you don't see as many waterslide parks in the US as there used to be.
They're still fun, though.
