The first one was made by an idiot who admitted that the maths experts and physics experts were telling him it would never be safe, and he just ignored them and built it anyway. Every person going on should have had a weight limit and there should have been an age limit, but the owner decided to remove all age limits just before opening to the public. They re-opened the rest of the park 3 days after the boy was decapitated.

The first one is a little unnerving considering a kid would be decapitated on that ride. The ones that look like the most fun are the ones where you get launched up in the air at the end. But the coolest looking one by far is the one with the sharks. That was pretty bad ass.

Its even more sad knowing the incident might not have occurred if the boy was in the middle, they put that weightless boy in the front knowing the weight wasnt distributed throughout the raft. That thing was destined to go airborne 🤦🏽

That last one took too long at the end to get out of - that tunnel would've sent me into pure panic mode. Even with the cute little sharks and view of people shooting down the tube - all I'd be focused on is being boxed in with people in front and behind me. 😮

the first one makes me so sad to know that a innocent ten year old child was decapitated and killed on it. it seems like a fun ride but i wish so bad that they would’ve made it safer and especially wish he wouldn’t have gone on it

Went to the iceland(striker slide) one on my school trip like 8 years ago.. it was really tall(taller than it looks in tbe video) but i never knew it was one of the tallest slides.. but. Trust me full tube slides are scarier.. i had a traumatic experience as a kid.. got stuck in the middle of one.. no one could see or hear me and my parents were anxious of me not coming down...finally another guys tube came and hit me and got unstuck since then never went to a closed tube slide

The first ride actually shutdown because a 10 year old boy got decapitated. And there's no way I would ride that, even if I met the requirements.

I've been on slides and I can confirm that even though some of these look scary, it's only a few seconds and you will feel glad after.

I would enjoy Massiv (the green-and-white-striped slide) more than the tallest ones. I've never liked the sensation of free-falling, and some of those record-breakers are ridiculously steep. The ones with a far more moderate grade not only last longer but are more refreshing, I think. Aside from Verruckt, which makes me sick to look at in light of the tragedy, this is a really well-planned compilation with a variety of slides around the world. I like seeing not only the riding POV, but also a backward view of the slides' heights from the splash pools.

OMG imagine there is a screw a bit lose on the slide and you slide with speed over it. I hope this never happens and they check every slide atleast a day.
