The three npc's each give 1 candy that is immediately consumed and becomes a 2min buff. When you have 3 different candies consumed, these 3 buffs combine and become the 10% sollant and exp buff for 15 or 30 minutes (don't remember)
So that's where the information is misguiding us because we do get candy but not the dungeon looting kind.

what if you use the morphs from the event dungeon? or the new mask? the city npc explicity say that not in that form, by hallowen logic you need a disguise to get candy
