Make no mistake. This youtube channel is where real journalism is happening. Great video Mark!

This was a deliciously honest look at the influence of ad dollars on “conventional journalism.” Constantly bringing on market participants who “talk their book” instead of objective outsiders.

If one is continuosly bad at their job, they should be let go. That being said, it goes to show that listening to others can and often does get us in to trouble.

In a free society, the media should be providing an unbiased, balanced view, trying their best to report the objective truth. But what they are doing instead is to push a narrative that suits the government and the real estate industry. Thankfully, there are still independent content creators out there like you.

It’s truly amazing how much basic logic is never considered. Doing a great job Mark. My prediction for Canadian home prices is they remain flat and possibly drop again in 2025 as fixed money will not drop to the rates we need to see to keep prices up. Rates don’t go down during war times and everything is pointing towards increased conflict.

I’ve been looking at houses for >2 years, trying desperately to figure out the right place and time to buy. Every single realtor I’ve used likes to tell me that “it’s just a little hiccup now, prices should take off soon again”, and every single time, it hasn’t. I don’t know what these guys are smoking, but I’d sure love it if there was a list of realtors out there who aren’t smoking it, I would love to send my business their way.

Phil’s job is to raise the number of transactions. Whether you profit or lose is not in the scope of realtor’s job. He’s doing it well.
But Mark is the real hero here, he brings the torch of truth often conflicting with his own interest. As once Prometheus brought the light down to earth sacrificing himself for the rest of us. Thank you Mark for your hard work
