Dewy look nice but I prefer Matte because I live in a tropical country. Dewy might come off as sweat and looks oily.

Dewy, but I think she could’ve used a touch of powder on the dewy side, especially on the sides of the nose. The outside perimeter of the face should be the glowiest part while the center of the face should be less shiny. Also, if you have dry skin, dewy makeup will be ideal to prevent excessive dryness and texture

If your going for full glam I would recommend matte but if your going for a natural and light or anything else dewy is like the best thing ever

I have dry skin, but even so I've always preferred the dewy look and it's all the rage now! people say it looks greasy, but if you do it correctly, it's supposed to look GLOWY/ RADIANT, HEALTHY, YOUTHFUL, SMOOTH. matte is a thing of the past. it looks flat, non dimensional, dry, old and unhealthy to me. I guess there's just some people out there who don't understand what dewy skin is supposed to look like. plus if you have dry skin as it is, the matte look will make that much worse because you are using drying products and with the dewy look, you're using hydrating products...

I think glowy is inspired by oily skins i have oily skin(now on accutane so it’s bit dry still thankfully glowing )but back then i used to have same wet glowy looking skin all over my face even top of my cheeks looked highlighted before these dewy/highlighting /strobbing was a thing in makeup
