I like a mix of both, powder to make the under eyes and t zone matte but leaving the rest of the face glowy. I find that if I don’t mattify certain parts of my face where I naturally get oily then it’ll just look greasy, since excess oil will come through from there either way.

Dewy is good if you have dry skin ❤ matte is for the oily girlie's. Both look beautiful and it's all about what suits you best.

Dewy makeup might look natural, but it’s actually heavier and stickier in my opinion. Like having to applied more layers of products to achieve the dewy finish, and it feels uncomfortable for me. So I love matte finish better (not flat cakey matte, but more like velvety skin, and don’t apply too much, keep it light so I feel my skin can breathe).
