the best part of this whole video is that you have a loyal friend to help you. Which is very rare.

It's so beautiful to see the flowing clouds that seem to be playing fast.
Of course, the house that is being built looks so good.

Hi guys...I will give you a brilliant and simpler suggestion than bituminous wooden pillars. PVC pipes used for sewerage with a diameter of 160 or larger, to be put in pits and then reinforced concrete in the middle and cast concrete, last 200 years.

Nice log mallet! The foundation and floor look great!

The primary beam connection to the bituminous pillar foundations are surely inadequate. Diagonally drilled lag scews would not have enough holding down. Use a steel strap the next time. Saddle them over the primary timber beams (like an inverted U) and nail/bolt the free ends to/through the pillars.

PVC is a very good idea but where I live in España (Balearic Islands) it is prohibited to build with cement and concrete; you can only build small houses with wood unless you have more than 15, 000 square meters (161, 458 square feet). That's why the foundations wood works very well for me. Thank you for this project👍👍👍

Hello. Great idea. I built a house in the country using frame technology: quickly, not expensively and easily. Good luck with the project. I keep watching this video

Very impressive! I am especially impressed by how deep you were able to sink your piles. I have a small homestead and hope to build a couple outbuildings when the snow melts in May. Unfortunately I don't have the beautiful soil you guys have; it's all clay and boulders where I am. :(

The tree stumps in the ground for the foundation will only last about 30 years, then you will need to redo the entire foundation. Not the best way to go.

Hello, congrats for the time lapse!! what is the net that you used over the first base layer? It seems metallic and what's the covering fabric that you put over the net later? from minutes 15 to 18. 😁
