How to Make a Wood Frame and Stretch a Canvas Painting (DIY)

In this video i show you how you can make a wood picture frame out of 2x4 lumber and stretch a canvas painting over it. I show you how to build the custom wood frame for the exact size your canvas painting needs and then how to stretch it the easy way. I painted this painting a while ago and needed to stretch it over a frame for a art show it was being displayed in, and figured i show you guys how i did it. Hope you learn something from this.

Great video. Perfect if youre already done w your painting and just stretching it on but if, like many of us, your sometimes want the canvas stretched on before painting then the middle wood will be touching the canvas and can cause lines. If the middle wood can b cut 1/4” or more down then all would work better.
